[solved] Samsung UE42F5370 freezes and smarthub is not working

Hey guys,
I'm using oscam for about 3 month and everything worked well until yesterday.
I watched TV when I suddenly noticed a blackscreen with the text "no signal".
Okay, I reconnected the LNB and it was okay. In the evening I noticed that I cant volume up/down,
switch channels etc. on the remote control or on the tv itself.
Also I couldn't power off the tv, so I plugged it off and on again.
After a time I understood that everytime when the smarthub was loading in the background my tv freezes and I cant do anything.
I stopped the autostart of oscam but that didn't help. I reset every option but nothing is working. Now I dont have any connection to the network.
Do you know if I can install the FW over ftp? Anyone with the same problems?
I would be grateful for any help!

okay, I solved the problem! I finally managed to get a ftp connection to the tv and deleted the whole oscam folder. thats is, tv worked immediately.

I dont use oscam but I also have problems on my rooted ue46f7090 with freezing on smarthube. the tv is wery slow, sometimes it dont shut down if i push the buton or it needs to much time to do it. If i go to the more apps it needs about a minute to show something. Yesterday i only go to the GUIDE,it opens but then it freez until i shut it down. know anyone what i have to do to fix this?

I also face this problem (huge slowdown, smarthub not working / not showing any widgets). The TV (f5370) is not even rooted (yet). A reset to factory defaults from service menu not cured the problem. Any ideas?

Same problem here, UE46F6340 FW T-MST12DEUC 0000 -> than 2126.0 now (latest)...
any ideas?

I yesterday solved this issue by updating to latest FW.
Any other attempt was useless.
You are with latest FW so you need to downgrade to a previous Fw version and most likely you will solve.
if you're rooted, use libdowngrade with a previous version.
If you have any previous version, please share it in the forum because I would need it as well.

Sory, I do not know English, but this problem probably causes a full text folder itself. Just delete it and create it again, I recommend it every month to delete it, go through winscp to the mnt directory, you will find the text folder sam.log then you will delete it and the case

The freezes also happen on my TV when the root USB stick isn't plugged in. It seems that once the TV has been rooted then USB stick must be plugged in at all times.
Smart Hub doesn't not work anymore when the root USB stick isn't plugged in. The apps will never launch.
Edit:
I figured it out. I removed the samygo related files and directories. Smart Hub will work again without root.

Well, but then there is no possibility to install oscam, oscam is the basis after all, I remove from time to time the contents of the folder - sam.log and for now works without jams

This does not work for me. it helps sometimes but very often I have to reinstall samygo from scratch.
Once I have been obliged to install a newer FW in order to have back the TV responsive to remote.
I believe it is the oscamlib that creates some log file somewhere ...
