Check fw boundaries into 1st post (1st line!). You have to use other root method ("latest firmwares" one).

after succssesfully rooting the tv
is it ok if i unstick the usb?
i rooted to access my recordings on tv, when i use samyGoPvrDecoder on my laptop, should that usb containing folder "installsamygo" still be connected to tv?

my tv: F7500

I assume you were referring to the USB device you used for rooting, ie. the device that provided the necessary files like Samy-GO app. Right?

In that case, and with this rooting method: Yes, you may remove the device after rooting your TV; it is not required to activate rooting after the TV had been switched off and on.

Hi all,

Before all, Thanks for all the work done on SamyGo.

I have a Samsung UE40F6400 on version 1120, managed to dowgrade it to 1119, latest firmware with rooting skype replacement method as I see, so I did the steps and got the root done, but now, SamyGo don't start and I see on SmartHub SamyGo Uninstall and SmgRestore, nothing else (except my other apps).

My question is, what you think I did wrong or I've missed, and why SamyGo don't start.

I have ES8000 with model and FW: T-ECPUABC-1031.0
Can I use root it with this method?

Seeing it's latest fw, surely no, you have to use that one: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=7982
