It's possible to disable this check in script, but you won't be able to read your recordings from non-xfs device/partition, even if you can record to it.

I have three questions about this APP:
1) Which are its main features as PVR?
2) Can I do time-shifting on IPTV streaming?
3) If I have already samygoso in my TV, can I use directly mine instead of using that available in this APP download?

Thanks

1) The mai feature is that you do not need to perform any specific format to your USB drive. You can record on your drive in the format you like (FAT or NTFS). Then you can access your recordings and with PVR to TS you can also view them on any device else your TV.
2) No. IPTV works with SH app and this is not possible. Else, this app will not add any feature different from the one you already have natively on your TV (a part point 1 above ;))
3) Yes. In this case you have to dedicate a partition of your drive to PVR as natively for our TV; of course you must not have oscam running otherwise PVR might be more triky or even impossible on some TV.

OK really thanks for the detailed answers. Actually, I use samygoso with oscam, so as you say it could be very tricky.
Btw, do you know an IPTV app in which I can load my m3u playlist and I can do PVR, like time-shifting?

As far as I know, no PVR can be done on IPTV.
PVR is working on the tuner while IPTV is a direct streaming from the net.

A good free app is SS IPTV.

Ok, thanks!
I didn't know SS IPTV. It seems having the stream control that I'd like to have, like pause the IPTV stream

[App] More TV channels on E/F/H series
New stable version OnlineTV v. 1.1.4.
Changelog:

1. Added record stream on disk function.
:?:

Btw, no idea what is "tricky" about samyGOso. Always use latest version, whatever happens, simple as that :)

Well, nice to notice that this app has added record stream on disk. This is not a real PVR ;)
Also , this app is quite triky and not compatible with m3u.
Despite, I used it in the past and found it quite well working.

It is not samyGOso to be tricky :) ... it is the PVR function with oscam running that require the lib fix and not for all TV (only MST).

Just to be clear for me.
Can you suggest an IPTV APP that is able to pause the stream and eventually to record it on the disk?
Then, I would prefer m3u compatibility.

Thanks

Yes -> you can suggest :)
No -> you should NOT expect it :)
