[App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares

Post by samer »

I have this problem with (in this thread samygo plugin) samygo, I get this error

samyGOso: invalid option -- 'T'
usage: samyGOso -p PID {-c CONFIG | -l LIBNAME [-r (=resident)]} [-d (=debug on)
]
samyGOso: invalid option -- 'A'
usage: samyGOso -p PID {-c CONFIG | -l LIBNAME [-r (=resident)]} [-d (=debug on)
]

Then i must make any update?

Only copy 1:1 one file enough? Or run any injection script?

Is it still possible to root the firmware 2126 for the F6740 as a donor user?

-Topic is called "root on latest".
-Your fw is latest.
-So? :)

ps: Nothing "donor" anymore about E/F root...

Hi!
Can I install SamyGO according to the instructions in the first message on TV UE46ES8007 T-ECPDEUC-2022.0?
Or do I need to install FW 0000 and 2009.2 first?

SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix-USB

Post by DanielF »

G'day all. A newbie here, looking for help!

I have a Samsung UA32F6400 TV with firmware 2139.1. Some sort of recent OTA update from Samsung (can't remember whether firmware or [more likely] SmartHub) has changed the way SmartHub looks and works. The most troubling aspect is that the TV will no longer recognise Universal Media Server (UMS, which is DLNA-compliant) as a program source, so I can no longer stream videos from my server.

I thought installing SamyGo might unlock some features that would regain that DLNA ability, but working through the (various) 'instructions' in this forum, I am blocked at the point that says: "unpack: SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix-USB.zip, you get a folder called: SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix-USB", since there appears to be no working link to a SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix-USB file anywhere I can find.

Can anyone direct me to it, or has the procedure changed since the posts that mention it?

Thanks,
Daniel

Well, you should maybe scroll down enough until you see the file(s)? :)

ps: post moved to the right place I guess...
