Does this apply to video inputs too?
"screen fit" isn't available on anything under 720p via hdmi on my h5500.

Re: [App] libFitScreen D/E/F/H
How does it effect channels / signals that broadcast in output in both 16:9 and 4:3,
currently I use picture size: auto wide, 4:3 screen size: 4:3, screen fit stretches everything to 16:9.

Re: [App] libFitScreen D/E/F/H
Actually it will give you picture size modes of fullHD whatever is resolution. So except "fit to screen" option, I think everything else remains cropped. Not as if 4:3 was future anyway

Re: [App] libFitScreen D/E/F/H
Never noticed before, but damn even my DVB-T2 HD 1080i channels have overscan,
the scrolling marquee on BBC News HD for example, it gains 50% more screen height between the
scrolling marquee and the bottom of the screen, what was Samsung thinking

Re: [App] libFitScreen D/E/F/H
Yes, everything not being "fit to screen" is cropped, and even fit to screen is cropped by 1 pixel iirc, which means TV *resizes* picture from 1918x1078 to 1920x1080 (just for real pixels to be NEVER aligned on panel matrix...)
