Hello all.
Since few days I cannot sleep during early mornings (4-5 am).
I noticed that during this time my TV is powering on, doing some business and then turn off.
This time can be as small as 30sec up to few minutes.
I thought that this is connected with FW upgrade check but it's disabled in Service Menu (OTN Support) and so on.
There is not so much information on google and I don't think TV should be allowed to do anything by its own.
Do you now if there is a way to do not allow TV to turn on by itself, it can upgrade when operating during day anyway?
EDIT: Some information is in this E Series topic: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=6612
Thanks.
Unattended operation of TV during night (FW upgrade?).

Disable "standby mode upgrade" in menu
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.

Where I can find that one on F6xxx menu? I'm almost 99% sure it's already disabled if there was such an option.zoelechat wrote:Disable "standby mode upgrade" in menu

Re: Unattended operation of TV during night (FW upgrade?).
Checked already:
Menu > Support > Software Update > Auto update > Off
Smart hub > Apps More apps > Options > Auto Update Apps > Off
So the problem is somewhere else.
--
EDIT: Tried every option still no result. SmartHub reset, Self Diagnosis reset done, AutoTime disabled.
What is the deepest factory reset possible?

When I checked last night TV blinks 5 times after it clicks, then later turn off.
How to monitor what is TV requesting from router?

Disable OTN Support ASAP
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

Re: Unattended operation of TV during night (FW upgrade?).
This issue seems to affact maybe all Samsung TVs! In my opinion the most people do not notice it. Even I noticed it only because of the click (relais) and the bright Samsung LED on the front.
I already called Samsung and a technician called me back and checked online the TV. He did not find anything and had never heard about this issue.
The more people complain on this issue, the quicker we get an update with fix
