Hi, Read the WIKI on how to get a non Samsung wifi dongle working on B and C series but wondering if that also applies to the F series Smart TV. I have model UE46F5300AWXXN and just bought a D-Link DWA-160 which I'm researched has the RT2870 chipset.

Before I open this dongle I want to know if this even has a chance of working or not at all for my TV model.

Any confirmation would be appreciated.

The D-link DWA-160 was not in stock so decided to instead buy a Netgear powerline that extends my network via the electrical socket. This model also have 2 Ethernet ports so for the same price as the Samsung wifi-dongle I get to connect 2 devices (TV and Xbox) without the use of a cable
