You must not reboot TV, patch is not permanent.
Well it was just blind test, I wouldn't be surprised if Ziggo overchecks anyway. Best option is probably to change TV region as advised in other thread.

Alright. Is it safe to change my TV region? I read it caused a bootloop for someone.zoelechat wrote:You must not reboot TV, patch is not permanent.

Re: Exporting channel list
Alright, thanks a lot. I've been able to export my channel list by changing my country to Germany.zoelechat wrote:Who? No.
One last question:
Could I just use the TV without having the USB plugged in safely? I used the premium rooting method.
And if the USB is removed, root won't work anymore, right?
Re: Exporting channel list
Yes USB mandatorily has to remain plugged, at least while TV is ON

If it is unplugged, could anything bad happen?zoelechat wrote:Yes USB mandatorily has to remain plugged, at least while TV is ON
Re: Exporting channel list
If you boot TV unplugged, you just won't have root. If you unplug while ON, you may corrupt files and have to re-root from scratch. Nothing critical.

Thanks, you're the best mod
Re: Exporting channel list
I'm also getting signal from Ziggo. The symptom is different here than described in the quote however.Export from TV a channel list on USB Drive (Main Menu->Broadcasting->Channel Settings->Transfer Channel List->Export to USB)
If this submenu is grayed you use the libZiggoState by @zoelechat
I can access the 'Channel Settings' menu without problems. But 'Transfer Channel List' is not grayed out, it's just not shown at all! Possibly my firmware lacks the whole feature (v2130 on H5570)? Did anybody get libZiggoState to work?
There is no way to update the channel list through shell access (ssh)?
