Now Skype works. But in future firmware everything can change. It is better to block the firmware update.

Not blocked the firmware yet, (quick question as well) but firstly although mine is working really well now, so a HUGE THANKS! for that, one step confused me a little

6. Press the "Exit", go to the TV menu and check the option System ? > General ? > Instant start. If it is ? Off.

Should I turn instant start off or on?

I read it that it should be on, because you go in to instant start and if it is off......implication is to turn it on (Which I have done and worked, but I wanted to check)

instant start should be OFF.

Unfortunately for series J No Skype.
The fact that Skype can not be copied from the TV series J. Access to the file system in the series J is closed.

I've always had OTN Support set to OFF. Didn't know you should also set OTA Support to OFF. Is that a new requirement, as it isn't mentioned in the wiki?!

And OTN is OK mostly. OTA is a bit historical. Don't think Samsung used this way nowadays...

Works on a UE55H6400 and will install on two other H Series in Spain.

You have now enabled my elderly family to see my young child grow up without the need for them to learn new technologies. Greatly appreciated to all those putting in the considerable effort in making this work.
