I reset my Smart Hub and after that I got "Failed to download 3010" error when trying to download apps.
I did a Smart Hub connection test and it also failed saying I need to update TV firmware. I have the latest firmware, but I tried to check for updates anyway and it said there is a update available (without showing any version number). I let it update, it only took a few seconds and restarted. It fixed the problem, I can now download US apps again without any problems.
Hope this helps.

I picked up a new 48H6400 at the weekend, connected it up and following the setup.M11 wrote:So some H series TV's are already available, does anyone know if it is still possible to change Smart Hub region?
I currently have a UK smart dns service setup on our VDSL router, so when the TV negotiated an IP address, it was using the router as it's DNS. It appears that the new series of H TV's using GEO location to check your country, so it automatically configured the the SmartHub as UK. I didn't have to do any hacks.
Re: Samsung H-Series: change Smart Hub region
Hi everybody,
I bought a 'german' Samsung TV UE55H6740 and had problems with not able to find specific dutch apps. Although the root is set to EU-Benelux and even the country in SmartHub is set to Netherlands: no dutch apps. Also factory reset TV by Samsung did not solve problem. Unfortutely the supplier, who sold me a disfunctional tv, is bankrupt. So return of the tv is no option anymore. Anybody any suggestions? Can I change the root firmware to dutch firmware or something? The strange thing is that the dutch Samsung website IS supporting this model by firmware updates. I really dont get it anymore.
Dutchuser.

Same problem here. I also have a UE55H6740 German model, and set the Localset to EU_BENELUX and the country to The Netherlands. I do get Dutch content in the Films&Series and the Multimedia panels. However, in the Apps panel there are only generic apps and no Dutch apps.Dutchuser wrote:Hi everybody,

Is there any way to get local Dutch apps on my TV?
Re: Samsung H-Series: change Smart Hub region
I experimented a bit with the settings for Localset (EU_GER, EU_FRANCE, EU_BENELUX) and Smarthub region (Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands) on my UE55H6740. It seems that it is only the Smarthub region that determines which set of apps you get.
When set to Germany I got quite a lot of apps (>100 in the Video category) and games too. However, when set to France or Netherlands I got much less (~70 in the Video category) and no games. When set to Netherlands several polular apps (Uitzendinggemist and RTL XL) are missing.
So it seems that the set of apps (and games) for my TV in the Netherlands is restricted in some way; many other types of Samsung TVs have a larger set of apps.
Does anybody know how this set of apps is defined, and if/how this can be changed?

Re: Samsung H-Series: change Smart Hub region
Could perhaps my problem above be solved by changing my TV's SW Model or BOM Model?
If so, what whould be good values? They are now set to 'UH6700' and '6740'.

Re: Samsung H-Series: change Smart Hub region
Same problem with a h7080 (swiss, germany, austria) modified to France hub region.
Bom model: modified to h7000 (french model)
Local set: eu_france
Info link country: France
I can't have french samsung apps (francetv apps, canal+ vod...)
I've just got a french service (SALTO) made by francetv after Switch on some France television channels. Better than nothing...
Sorry for my english technical language...

For smurf:
When you modify BOM model, SW model changes automatically
