Yes, it should work. I will be migrating from skype root to this root shortly (had network disabled since skype was retired).

I had previously rooted with the skype-method (that not work any longer). So I decided to get root back witht his method. But unfortunately it gives me an error:

Any ideas how to resolve this?

I migrated to this root from Skype root as well and got the error displayed above. After a reboot root worked fine - thanks for the help!

Interesting. You deleted any of the files mentioned above in the error log before you could run the "new" installer?
Have you re-created the USB stick and start from scratch or just exchange the install-dir?

Very well. So If I am able to root(with latest H series firmware that provided with you:https://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=9622 and My TV is already capable of using this root because I try it successfully before) and downgrade to a firmware lower than 2130 I can easily use new skype based root? Am I right?
As long as you block updates BEFORE you connect your tv to the internet, all should be fine

Hello.

I have already rooted TV - based on New H Skype Root.

My question is if after install SamyGO on TV can I change USB stick for new one with copied all data from previous USB stick?

My pendrive has been damaged and now I put for new USB stick all data (folder samygo) from previous - broken USB stick.

Unfortunatelly root is not working now (no telnet, no vusb, no samba). What is wrong?
Did installed samygo is associated pernamently with the USB which was used during root install?

Thank you.
Best Regards.

It should work without problem, be sure your "new" USB stick is FAT formatted, and not too old/slow or broken as well :)
It's also possible that your broken USB broke your SamyGO installation itself, you may restart from scratch in such case.
