Nope, nothing faster than libScreenShot possible (about <1fps), you can do a slideshow then :)

On the old dumb TV I used to own there used to be an option to constantly display clock on screen in the topmost right corner. Anything like that exists for Sammy, be it native or a custom app (hack)? This was my lifesaver in terms of not being late places while not having to constantly stare at a wall clock.

Yeah I've got some unreleased (because of issues on F) lib doing so :)

Good to know that's at least a possibility, which might see the light perhaps in a not so distant future.. :)

If your TV is rooted and if you're already familiar with libs I can link you to it. Warning you because unreleased means no support and I see you registered only 2 days ago :)

Been tampering with hardware for quite a while and bash, nor terminal windows don't scare me either, so I'm feeling courageous and would appreciate a link. Though going on vacation for the Easter break so won't be able to test it right away.

What's the worst thing that could happen if a lib misbehaves .. assuming it just doesn't work as one expect ?

Nothing worse than a single TV crash (=reboot), but shouldn't happen anyway. I was more thinking of lib usage, but there are enough other releases to take example :)

I have the same problem with UE32H5000.
You can change the size in the menu (3 levels: small, medium and large) but the difference between them is really small and for me even the biggest size is still way to small to watch it. Is there any patch somewhere available?
