Works, this solution with timed recordings? I have installed the library and the Init script.

But the Global key that i was used (T-GFS) after a new (scheduled) recording seems wrong. Can't decrypt with drmdecrypt.

*UPDATE*

I inject the library and starts a test record, but the file is not decryptable with global key. Different drmdecrypt versions tested.

How can I help to make it work?

Is there a way to get the source code of libPVRMakeFixedKey. So i can try to modify/debug this for my model and firmware?

Hello, I have a UE48H6670, T-MST14DEUC-2117.5. I want to root it, but I want to ask before, if there is a working way how to decrypt my future recordings (also the scheduled ones). The problem TheGopher described happends only on T-GFS models or even on my T-MST14?
Would you recomend to try this method or the PVRDecoder? Should it work for me? I know you can't be sure about the answer, I just want to know your opinions.
Thanks a lot for some answer, I don't want to do the root unnecessarily.

I can not confirm if it works with your firmware, the only way is, try it by yourself and share your experience. On my H6620 with T-GFSDEUC-1210.5 is unfortunately not working.

However, I would like to help to find a workable solution for offline Decryption with drmdecrypt or PVRDecoder.

My intention for root was, to bypass the damn "Content expired" message, that's me only allowed to watch the recorded title between 1 Hours after recording. And, to transfer it on my NAS to watch it on different devices.

Ok, I didn't have to use this option. I just wanted to decode a few recordings and I succeeded with PVRDecoder. I was able to decode even the files I recorded before the root! I wrote my experiences here:

i have an exactly the same intention as you have, and i tried this script today

unfortunately it is not working for me at all, the decryption itself runs successfully..but the result is a not playable file..
:(
i have to bypass this annoying drm protection, and i will also try pvrdecoder method, i really hope to solve this problem this last way i found..
did you have any success with your work?

I found a special solution that works for me. :) But this method must be examined more closely.

on my H6500 PVRDecoder works perfect for me..
on my more important H6600, the App is crashing my TV :/
