Hello guys,

For months my Samsung smart tv (UE40H6200AWXXH) was rebooting by it self when i was watching a movie sometimes every 5-10 minutes, sometimes every 1-2 hours. Sometimes the tv was working normal with showing the video and sound but the remote control was unresponsive or the tv menus was lagging.

I got used of the rebooting and done nothing about it. Today while i was watching a movie and tv was doing the normal rebooting thing suddenly it was booting untill the smart tv logo and then blank screen and after 1-2 minutes was going in stand by. When i was pressing the power button again it was showing the smart tv logo and then 1-2 minutes in standby without proceeding.

I took it apart and after allot of reading i am willing to try to reset the EEPROM chip to see if this solves the issue i am attaching an image on my main board and if someone can help me in wich pins do i have to short to reset ? and the procedure ?

On the sticker the board was saying BN94-07307H but on the motherboard is saying CODE: BN41-02156A and MODEL: BN41-02156

Is the EEPROM chip IC901 ?

emm... need hi res fotos of mainboard. OR write down what is written on chip IC901

do you have resolved it? i have same problem, bootloop in terms and condition, no service menu

I'm also having the same problem with the bootloop. Unfortunately I find less information for the mentioned board which in my case is from an UE55H6290SS.
I wanted to give it a try with a reset but I also don't find anything on that EEPROM in the above service-manual.

The IC901 is labelled with S24C51 (https://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet ... C512C.html)
According to the datasheet I'm not sure whether the chip can be resetted from outside.

I found another label next to the T-CON connector cable which mentions some EEPROM pins. Pins next to the label are 10. But 8 captions? Any idea?
