Lost telnet and SSH access

Hi,

Long story short, I don't remember my ssh password and telnet port isn't working either. I do however still have ftp access. Would it be easier to re-root, if so how as I tried rerunning Install-SamyGO-H on my UE40H6670 which is T-MST or can someone help me to wipe the ssh password using ftp?

Default is SamyGO, if you changed it then you should copy your configuration files and re-download samyext4 file and after change it on USB stick you will have default pass (and of course you will lost all your data from root)

Just so I'm clear I have to download samygo zip file and extract samyetx4.img and replace the original file. Will that also fix the telnet issue?

Please can you confirm the location of the configuration files? Do you mean mnt/opt/privateer sub directories?

I don't know what did you change, for example if you have oscam, you need configuration files and etc. if you added some init scripts you need it.

in samyext4.img you have all files from /mnt, so when you changed that file you will lost all changes made by you, and /mnt will be "deafult".

PS: If you have linux on your computer (or Virtual machine) you will be able to mount img file and discover it.

of course change the /locations/ ..
