Rooting T-MST14DEUC-2606.2

Post by warlock »

Hello All

First of all Thank you for doing this!

I have FW T-MST14DEUC-2606.2 on my UE40H6200.

1. How can I access this post?
viewtopic.php?f=70&t=8469
2. Is my TV & FW supported?
3. How can I donate and be recognized as donator?

Thanks

Hi , i have the same question from what i understand it is doable :
H-series

I have other question to: when i buy my tv this years april i remember that i disabled otn support . But no when i checked again i dont even have this option :
IMG_20151230_171206.jpg
IMG_20151230_164408.jpg
.
Pleas tell me , is it my otn disable now , if it is not how to do it because in the topic about it don't have explanation for tv where otn support is not showing at all , is it my firmware get update , is it rootable , do i have to downgrade - how ? .
10x
I just tried to see what will happen if i try to update and this is what it say :
And find a photo in my phone from 18.4.2015 when it disabled otn but the photo is only info i didn't take one of the otn menu ...

In state you're probably not safe against updates, you have to unlock extended service menu to make OTN support option available: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5?title= ... re_Updates

Nope , it is safe > i just found this tread viewtopic.php?t=8997 and check in Service Menu -> "Control" -> "MRT Option" -> "OTN Support" -> Off and the otn support was disabled just like i remember .
So now about other questions : is it rootable -how, do i have to downgrade - how ?

UE40H6500 T-MST 14DEUC-2606.2 ROOTED (I THINK :D ) FTP and Telnet working , still do not know what to do with it now :D i go to read more .
After 2 more hours reading this forum i still cant understand how to get samba or some media player like this in the samygo youtube videos .
For now i have telnet and ftp working , but what can i do with that , in smart hub i have only inall samygo -h icon no other new samygo icons , do i have to install something else . i think there is good manual for someone that do this for the first time and do know exactly what to expect .
Ps:have working ssh too .

Trying to set samba , get info from this post : viewtopic.php?f=63&t=6778
My shares are on windows 7 pc
user for the shares is "galaction" password is "qwe" .
ip of the server is 192.168.12.234
i can get to the shares from any other linux , windows , android device .
but when i enter virtual usb from my tv , there is folder "192.168.12.234" in it is folders called "D G E" and folders are empty .
my smb_userdata is :

USER="galaction" #or your login name
PASSWD="qwe" #password
SERVER="192.168.12.234" #IP of your samba server
SHARES="D E G" #your network shares, divided with space

this is what i get from log :

so from what i see is there it try to mount them with user Guest and no password instead galaction and qwe , why is that ?
if i turn off password protection sharing in windows they share properly but that is not working for me .

I edit :04_04_samba.init
##### CHANGE MEEEEE !!!!! ######
USER="galaction" #"CHANGE_MEEEEE" #user and password have to be st to SOMETHING :)
PASSWD="qwe" #"CHANGE_MEEEEE"
PERM="rw" # can be ro or rw
##### CHANGE MEEEEE END ######

and yet again get :
+ /mnt/bin/busybox mount -o rw,uid=1010,gid=1010,user=galaction,password=qwe,iocharset=utf8,noserverino -t cifs //192.168.12.234/G /dtv/usb/sdc/smb/192.168.12.234/G failed: Permission denied
