Watch recording on pc? can not decrypt! firmware ist new!

Post by televisonuser007 » Sat Dec 06, 2014 12:24 pm

Hello
i can not decrypt the Samsung Recording from my 48H6470 Samsung TV.
My firmware is new, is this the problem?Perhaps?

because the Tool "detsroi" is too old for the firmware an can not decrypt this?
I copied the files under Linux to the Windows System. I than i use destroi.

I load the Samsung File in the Tool, and the tool works fine, but the screen is black! The movie start not!

Where is the Problem???

What is the newest Version of Destroi Tool? Where is my Mistake?

2. Problem!
I use my 48H6470 with a extern Sat HD Receiver (edision optimus)!
When i switch on the TV, i must always select with the "source" Button the "HDMI" Selection in the menu!
Is there a chance, that the hdmi modus is automatic set, at the Start of the tv? so i must not press the source Button at the start (switch on)?
When the extern Receiver worked with the TV!,and i watch not with the Intern Receiver, is the intern Sat Receiver alsways on, and under Voltage (electricity consumption)?

regards
jo

Hi, regarding your first problem, give a look at these threads:
viewtopic.php?f=75&t=8282
viewtopic.php?f=74&t=7956

Anyway, the short answer is that at the moment it is still not possible to decrypt the recordings and watch them on any other devices except the tv you used to record them.

As the good sectroyer never gets tired of remembering, if you want a possibility someday to be able to decrypt your files ,
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!
REMEMBER TO DISABLE AUTOMATIC UPDATES (OTN Support)!!!!

Decrypting recordings made with H-series should be supported by the PVRDecoder in the upcomming Christmas release.
I provide NO assistance by PM, unless absolutely necessary. Please ask questions in dedicated topics.

Let's hope so ;)

Its not a hope, its a fact :-)

I have decoded hundreds of recordings from my new H-series TV, at this point ;-)
The decoding function for the H-series has been verified beyond SIGMA-2 certaincy :-)

However, lots of cleanup and general improvements of the PVRDecoder is to be done, before I will release it.
I still aim for a Christmas-release ..

Ok, good to hear that it's already a reality! I'll wait until your precious work will be released to "the masses". :)

Actually, - my work is not "precious" .... My work is derivative only.
The PVRDecoder is just a "fancy" wrapper for the REAL tools and libraries .. and those were made by Sectroyer for the H-series TV !

Sectroyer has CHOSEN to allow me access to his work, as he is kind enough to support the
PVRDecoder for "the masses", as you call them :-)

So, 98% of all praise should goto Sectroyer, - and 2% to the crew testing my wrapper-thingy :-)
