Yes but ONLY if you SUCCESSFULLY block updates on router. Without it scenario will be like this:
1) day one, I release the J root which WORKS on your CURRENT firmware
2) day two, you root your TV and are happy :)
3) day three, Samsung release version 1666 and your root is gone :) Probably forever :)

i cant block root from the router'but my tv dont connect to the internt from the wifi i cant get any internt options...so it good?(when i try smart hub it says intenet eror 999)

Yes the updates are SUCCESSFULLY blocked, I've tried to update my H6400 and nothing happens...

Is there a list of which websites to block to prevent updates? Entering the domains: msecnd.net
samsungotn.net in my firewall settings does not seem to be sufficient.

I've blocked updates through my router, and TV says there are problems in the network when checking for updates, so I think it's working, but there's an option to disable automaticy updates (UE40JU7000). Doesn't it work? I disabled it but didn't check without the router' blocking...
