Hi everbody,

I have a big problem in my tv and i'm hoping that an updgrade will fix it.
i just want to know, how can i be sure that the downoaded firmware is compatible with my TV.
In fact, my TV MODEL CODE: UA40J5500AWXAB
my actual firmware version is: T-HKMFDEUC-1217.0

i contacted samsung egypt about an update but they told me that there is no one compatible with my TV
Even this version 1443 that i found in this link:

This is so strange answer from samsung.
Now supposing that samsung is right and there is no compatible version, what could happen to my tv if i will try to do an USB update using this version ?

Nothing, it will just say "no firmware found"

I brought samsung 43J5570 recently and it is same as compared to 43J5572 model.....same specification and hardware...and also display type and model design...except 3D mode and model number everything is same....

So can i flash the firmware of 43J5572 to 43J5570?
Both usesT-HKMFDEUC...

Of course yes, T-HKMFDEUC is T-HKMFDEUC, nothing specific to model. Upgrading won't unlock any feature though, since they don't depend on fw..
