I recommend to to use firmware 3005.1 (if 3005.1 is OK for your region) and install the internet widget hack.Follow the instructions >>>
http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Hacking_C-Series_TV_with_Internet@TV_only
using this hack>>>
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55342321/dredkin_widget.zip
also have to download these files for the samygo usb>>>
http://sourceforge.net/projects/samygo/files/C%20Series/For%20ARM%20CPUs/Content%20Library%20Applications/
Have in mind:
get last "All-Extensions" for valencia (it's r12)
extract SamyGO-All-Extensions-Bugfix-v0.03.6-r15-for-valencia-20111001120232.zip over it
and then extract SamyGO-libs-T-VALDEUC-20110123101934.zip
the enable/disable what you like to [not]use

and the run_sh script is here>>>
http://www.multiupload.com/C3QZ01OR8Q
Use putty to connect via SSH to the TV.
To remove the PVR encryption have also to install this:
http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2431
If you intend to you use PVR function also and save 1 usb port, you can create 2 partions (first one about 100MB for the SamyGO files) on the USB stick. The first you have to format FAT32. The second leave unformatted (format via the TV). If you are windows user, you can easy make the partitions of the usb stick with MiniTool Partition Wizard Professional Edition.

and the run_sh script is here>>>
http://www.multiupload.com/C3QZ01OR8Q

The problem is that I can't get any file from "Multiupload". It says "Either the file does not exist or has been deleted due to copyright violations."

Could you write the content of "run.sh" here?

OK, now I 've got "run.sh", but the widget is password protected and has only 1kb. Can I use that one: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55342321/dredkin_widget.zip or that one from "C-HACK.7z"

widget.zip is not password protected, even 1kb. Maybe have to turn off your antivirus protection for a while. I'm using NOD32 and it says that the file is infected, but it is not. So, probably the file is not accessible on your PC.

OK, now I have it. Virus-warning for "http.exe", but that I don't need, I think... (I use XAMPP).

you don't need to mess around with own webserver use same method as for d-series rooting:
http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Rootin ... lling_hack (just this only point is true for c-series, you will get the hack-widget installed)

for further "hacking" you can install the extensions pack for c-series.
