S24CS0 is probably for micom... do not touch it
More generally, do not shortcut any pins before being sure it is the config eeprom
What are the refs of the other ones ?

ATMLH006 (number 8) is the best candidate to me (I2C eeprom, could be connected to SoC).
S24C50 (number 1) could also be a good candidate (I2C eeprom), but its position is surprising to me (far from the SoC, and maybe connected to a tuner related chip).
Could you take a higres photo of these area so that we can confirm ?

Here you go.. the first one is from chip number 8, the one all alone in the corner..oga83 wrote:ATMLH006 (number 8) is the best candidate to me (I2C eeprom, could be connected to SoC).

hope they are good.. if not I can take more pictures..!
Re: UN46C7000 LED bricked with service menu (changed the mod
I confirm my previous post : chip #8 should be the one
To be more confident, you can try to follow sda/scl (the 2 signals connected to via-holes close to the chip) : they should go to the SoC
What's the crack on your SoC heatsink ?

Hi Oga83, thank you I'll do that. the first photos (the one with the crack) are not mine, I got them from the web.. my SoC heatsink doesn't have any cracks!oga83 wrote:I confirm my previous post : chip #8 should be the one![]()

Re: UN46C7000 LED bricked with service menu (changed the mod
My bet is on chip number "10" (4256BRP == ST M24256, 256Kbit I2C EEPROM). It has the right size (32KB), and it seems to be connected to the main SoC - or maybe not, picture quality is not good enough to be 100% sure. What are the labels on the four test pads nearby?
Chip numbered "8" (ATMLH006 2FB 2 == Atmel AT24C512B, 512Kbit I2C EEPROM) is more likely connected to the SETD-75 (Samsung manufactured Micronas/Trident FRC chip).

@sbav1 : I think you're right, I didn't know this ref. Good job !
