detect selected input source in script

any chance to access this value with a script?

goal is to trigger "send WOL signal to PC" when user switches to vga input

what about ir-codes? anyone found a log that could be scanned for recieved ir commands? so we could use button combos on the rc to launch commands?

This is micom related. IIRC no one of our devels did not even start such project. Would be interesting though! :)

in fact a daemon wich keeps record of lets say the last 10 detected buttons / functions would be almost all we need
then we only have to scan that list for our desired patterns, maybe with a flag key at the beginning of every combo
i've posted a feature request for that.
