okay so i got a tv from a friend that is bricked he told me he had used some img file from samygo ?
and i wonder if it is possible to unbrick and how

its a plasmatv
model PS42C430
he said that the firmware was T-TDT5DEUC-1018.0 before he bricked it

i read on the wiki that it may be possible to unbrick with exlink cable ?

what happens when i try to turn it on is that it ticks (startup tick)
then it double ticks (turn off and on)
and continue like that in a loop

i thought it could be fixed by downloading firmware to usb and hold exit on startup but nope did not work

so could someone tell me more details on unbricking with a exlink cable (like how or some other way of unbricking )
oh and if it is possible to unbrick with a some sort of hhardware flasher then tell me

i dont own any cables now but i will buy then soon

hi i read the thread but i dont understand much of it sadly.

i asked my friend and he think he used that method .

is it really not possible to unbrick it if it is in a bootloop?
or is it possible with exlink cable ?

i read on some viki page too while i where at it
and it said something about reset some chip on the motherboard
by connecting some wires to it ?
(reminds me reseting bios on a really old pc lol)

or do i have to replace the whole board ?

well like you already may know i dont understand much about tv flashing so little bit more help would be kind

think i may just gonna replace the logic board

25$ for a board replacement is pretty cheap too

Your mainboard must be more expensive, coz C435 is realy budget line tv w/o smarthub and mediaplayer (iirc). But hope dies the last. right?

Means your tv is with advanced features (of 2011 ofcourse), whether referencing ps42c450 is cheap model with only basic features. And simpler mainboard, which costs less than mainboard for your tv.

i found my board on ebay .
if you want to find your logic board then search for the logic board model number on ebay or google
the model number can be found on a sticker on the board or whriten on the board

hope this could be to any help
