Hi. In UN49K6500 I don't find this option "Instant On" and "Always Instant On Support", anyone know how to enable the true stand-by on the model k6500? Thank you.

You have to go into service menu->Option->MRT Option and disable "Instant On" and "Always Instant On Support" (path and availability of options may vary between models, here KS). TV will then enter in *true* standby.

I enabled the advanced menu and voilá, the options "Instant On" and "Always Instant On Support" accessible now.

I have disabled the led stand-by in service menu, but still permanently lit in stand-by mode. Have some trick to make the configuration of service menu work?

Samsung states in the specifications of all 2016 models, that stand-by power consumption is only 0.3W (Instant-on enabled of course). Is this not true?

I have exaclty the same issue with a K series tv from 2017. I can set the standby light to OFF, but it still is on when the tv goes into standby.
Who can help?

If you find that post so "offensive" to be worth a report (I took care of), know that tape is the method I personnally use. Couldn't be more serious :ugeek:
