Problem with HDMI input
Problem with HDMI input
Hi everyone,
Can someone please help me? I didn't find any topic about this in the forum.
I want to connect a raspberry pi 2 on my 49KS7000 using HDMI cable on port 2 but my TV says "no signal".
On HDMI port 1 i connected a Playstation 4 PRO and it works.
I tried to enter in service menu but i can't understand what to change.
The strange issue is that if I power on the raspberry connected to a PC monitor and then i disconnect the hdmi and move to the tv.. it works for a while.
I tried to connect also a notebook to the TV using HDMI2 but the TV says always "no signal". Is there a way to "wake up" the hdmi signal?
Thanks!
George

Re: Problem with HDMI input
Yes, it could be a raspberry problem, but i tried also with a common notebook connnected using an HDMI cable and the tv doesn't detect the signal.
Raspberry pi has a /boot/config.txt file that you can edit to change hdmi output settings.. but i tried to change everything and nothing happens..
It works for a while just when i switch on my raspberry connected to a pc monitor and then moving the hdmi cable to the tv.. seems like the tv needs a sort of "wake up" signal from hdmi..
Does anyone have a raspberry pi connected to a samsung smart tv?
Thanks!

Re: Problem with HDMI input
I tried raspbian and retropie... none working.. did you edit the /boot/config.txt file in your os or just plugged your hdmi cable to the tv?
Re: Problem with HDMI input
Can you send me a screenshot of the hdmi page of the service menu in the tv? Maybe I have something to change on the service menu.
I tried a raspberry with recalbox and i also tried another raspberry, and a notebook also.. none of them works!
