Does anyone have a copy of the 1165.1 firmware for a KS8000 please? Mine has arrived with 1160 (which I believe is not great) and I don't like the sound of 1169 either. It seems like 1165.1 is the "best" stock firmware.

As simple as checking post just above yours... Downgrade is not possible anyway.

Forgive such a basic question, if I check the current firmware download for KS800 it has the filename: T-JZMDEUC, so I should just be able to apply

If you're already on 1169: No, because you can't downgrade.

Ace thanks. Any tips on how to unpack the exe on a Mac? Or do I need to find some Windows?
