INFO+MENU+MUTE+POWER access "normal" service menu
INFO+FACTORY access "extended" service menu which is the most "advanced" one.

I told you it's not exact science, search everywhere, not necessarily "pvr record num" option, but anyone that could let you think it's related to PVR enabling (also search forum, there are already related threads).
Then if you still don't find any, maybe it means it simply doesn't exist. :)

It looks like I was in normal service menu till now....

Ok, If I understand correct.
After I install samyGOrc:
1. Normal Power ON tv
2. Press Info on Remote Control
3.Immediatelly afterwars send samyGOrc -p $(pidof exeTV || pidof exeDSP) 31; samyGOrc -p $(pidof exeTV || pidof exeDSP) 59 through telnet?
...and I should be in extended service menu.
Is that correct?

Yes, except you don't need to press INFO yourself, it's already done by command (31=INFO, 59=FACTORY) :)

Hm, something is wrong.
I watch TV.
Then I telnet to TV, and run command and nothing happened. I don't get any error on telnet, and also nothing happened on TV.
What can be wrong?

Code: Select all

/mtd_exe # cd ..
> cd ..
> samyGOrc -p $(pidof exeTV || pidof exeDSP) 31; samyGOrc -p $(pidof exeTV || pidof exeDSP) 59

Are you using Telnet on port 23 (instead of 2023) now you have full SamyGO?

ps: "cd .." is useless :)

Hello,
I managed to get to advanced service menu through ruSamsungTVCommunicator. I found setting PVR.... It is interesting that it was already set to 1. I tested and changed it 0. Now, when I press record (red circle) on remote control, nothing happened. Before that, I got message that timeshift is not available. Should I change something else besedu PVR_RECORD_NUM ?

You're probably right...I used wrong telnet command.
Firmware version:

Code: Select all

/mtd_exe # cat /.version
"X10P 0071" KERNEL MODULE VERSION : "0064.0716, DTV, X10P, release, DEU_BRANCH"
/mtd_exe # cat /mtd_exe/.product
T-MST10PDEUC T-MST10PDEUC-1029.0
/mtd_exe #
Is this ok?

No idea, what I'm sure is that PVR_RECORD_NUM should be set to 1. Look elsewhere if you don't find another option such as "PVR support on/off" for example (or why not "timeshift" if you see a message related to it) .
You're lucky to have an old enough firmware to be able to use ruSTVC :)

Zoelchat,
I managed to get it working. Like you said there was also PVR_SUPPORT.
Thank you!
Have you checked firmware version (above I pasted output). Is that ok, or is again some exotic kernel?

That's fine, same .version as me (vermagic=0064 which is more conventional), and old firmware, keep it preciously :)
