I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

Haha, Im in the same boat. Updated once, thought to 1480.3 but it appeared to be 1490. Double shit as no root for the moment, and picture quality seems to be much lower than previous fw on UE55J6240
UE32F4510 T-MST12DEUC-1118.4 using donor root downgraded to 1112.2 ;) + oscam
UE40D5700 T-MST5DEUC-1025.0 using public root RIP
UE40H6240 T-MST14DEUC 2130 using donor root + oscam
UE55J6240 T-HKMFDEUC-1470.3 no root

Yes, was a router failure in the Blacklist-Settings no https-Blocking-Option enabled, now fixed...for future!

Here the same, bought the TV since 1 year an blocked the URL at this point actually listed. Never updated the list. Now I'm 1490 due to missing URLs to block, damn

Hey Guys! Was a bit silent around me for month... :-)

I'm planing to by a new TV from my second appartment (for work) and I'm searching for an buget sammy TV which is still rootable (of course).
I saw an quite good local offer for an UE40K5579 (T-HKMFKDEUC) which seams to be an J acctually (saw an comment from Zoel about this)

So could somebody say something if this K model is rootable with latest J method?

Latest FW for this is T-HKMFKDEUC_1169.2

Any other TV recommendations are also welcome :-)

I would guess If firmware is LOWER than 1165 I think it should be rootable. But you have to wait for HKMFK stuff as "drivers" for it are still beta :)
