Hi,
if i would solder down the eMMC from the mainboard of a Samsung TV and would like to modify some files directly, would it work? Or is there some kind of protection like encryption or secure boot in place?

Secure boot, encryption, hash checksum of read only partitions, stored in different paces if filesystem etc etc...

no need to unsolder - emmc can be readed by ISP by only 5 - 6 wires to mb
