It looks like it does.
Please pay caution to capital letters.
Also give execution rights to /mtd_rwarea/SamyGO.sh file via

chmod +x /mtd_rwarea/SamyGO.sh

What bash.rc file? Does tv has root home directory? :)

You can't change appdata partition from TV's inside basically.
You have 2 ways to make changes.
1. Use 'mount --bind' command to show another location as /mtd_appdata/Images_960x540 , which is easier way to make changes on the fly.
2. Hack appdata.img file on samsung's original firmwares and update your TV flash with it.
