If your firmware is compatible, I'm not sure you need the Trojan. The city gates may already be open.
Did you try the Telnet Enabler on its own, even from USB? How about ssh from the Extensions?
It may be possible to change channel numbers within the TV's own channel manager, but only within each separate analogue or digital list.

That tool does not designed to handle pre B series.

You can reverse engineer your file structure by yourself. Use an hex editor like wxHex. Nothing to do much.

I don't inspect it. You can compare its structure to B series structure which available on Wiki.
And I don't think if it's possible to brick tv with Clone.bin (At least for B and C series)
