it's writable, depends on the 'virtual image'viper3k wrote:This would indeed be nice ..
That way you can add several virtual devices.
Also .. would it be somehow possible to make the tv to be able to write to the virtual device...
for sure it works, but on my tv it's the blue button. info is written to /mtd_contents not to movies directoryI recall back in the days I used my USB hdd to watch stuff the tv would somehow save the position when you hit stop and you could get back to this point in the timeline the next time you play the file by hitting the yellow button. This function doesn't seem to be working with the virtual device..
hthSince scrolling to the half of a movie usually is a bitch this would be a nice feature to have again.
if i have a working framebuffer, sound, input and tuner driver for kernel 2.6.24 for leonid then i'll take a look on it.bmwskead wrote:hello together,
i have a litte request... is it possible to change g_file_storage.ko to add a dynamic mount name for the virtual device instead of the fix "SamyGo Virt. USB"?
f.e. g_file_storage.ko label="Samy Another Virtual USB"
it would be very helpfull for me!because i can't compile g_file_storage.ko myself and doing these changes :/
thx very much!
