[T-VALDEUC] Web GUI, Telnet and FTP not working

Here are two different things:

• Hack over HotelMode
• Samygo-all-extensions

Hack is for rooting of TV, and it does what widget does too, but this type of hack has much more than simple rooting, it has plug-ins like ftp, httpd, samba, nfs, webui and extended repair of bricked TV.

When you hack your TV (over widget or hotelmode), you can use samygo-all-extensions. Advantages are known, it has much more treasures as hotelmode hack.

The third possibility (if you like it), you can upgrade your hack (if you hacked over widget) to hack over hotel mode.

Important - you can always use samygo-all-extensions independent of what type of hack has been used before.
I do not know much about compatibility of samygo-all-extensions and hack plugin system - i think some functions are duplicating, so it needed to be revised (by... arrs69 or Perforator...?) to have fully compatibility...

hmm, i was a little wrong:
Hotel hack is method just for rooting (as widget hack too)
"Hack over Hotel mode" i use in my explanation is method, described on wiki, and it is extended with some software plugins.

I think there is still too much confusion here, even I have not yet fully understood this:
I hacked TV via latest "Hack over Hotel Mode" yesterday, but I only have FTP/Telnet/WebUI when I load SamyGo Extensions. When TV starts without USB stick I have absolutely nothing I could access. Is this right or wrong? Or do I have to add a script anywhere? Please clarify this more so we can improve the tutorial.

Start your TV with USB you hacked with attached....Check plugin status over webui...

I've been trying to get WebGUI, telnet and ftp working using the SamyGO extensions but I do not find the way to make them work.

1. WebGUI: Apache server and PHP are working fine since I can get to the PHP info page when I open my TV's IP address but I can not access to the WebGUI.

2. Telnet: No telnet access through port 23 or any other port, only SSH access.

3. FTPD: It seems that busybox does not have the command to get the ftpd working...


I see from other posts that these features are supported in those C series models with the MIPS CPU (T-MSX5DEUC firmware) so:

Q1. Do I need to do anything to make them work?

Q2. Are they known limitations of SamyGO extensions for the ARM processor version (T-VALDEUC fw) of the SamyGO extensions?

this are two different frameworks, and if you enable the same services in both, logically the first started wins.

if you like, you can start to sudy the hotelmode hack (maybe its also dokumentet somewhere) how to start just one simple script and not the whole framework so you can use just the extensions pack, or you just use the "widget hack" to start the extensions.

So it seems that widget hack + SamyGO ALL-extensions does not provide ALL the extensions since part of them are in the USB image for hotel hack.

So in order to have the full features, the widget hack is useless!!!!!!

Please correct me if I am wrong, otherwise this fact should be advised in the wiki page related to widget hack.
