Hi all,
1-I decrypt T-VALDEUC 3010.1 and T-VAL6XDAAC 1017.0 using "SamyGO Firmware Patcher.py" and compare files and images.
1.1- On a Linux machine: use python command.
1.2- On windows machine: You need to install
python and
pycrypto packages ; Google them. I cant post links yet.
1.3- pycrypto do not work with 64bit version of python. use 32bit one.
2-Both firmwares have a file named
Image. I compared the two files using
winmerge; There is no binary difference between them.
2.1-According to
partition.txt (Inside the
exe.img), it seems that the file
Image is the kernel of OS. So, the firmwares use identical kernels.
3- I think the
rootfs.img is indeed initrd (Initial Ram Disk) of Linux OS.
3.1- There are 3 binary and 2 script files in T-VAL6XDAAC
rootfs.img that there are not in T-VAL6DEUC.
3.2- The diferences are:
bml.dump : Low-level Partition Dump Tool for NAND Flash Memory
fsrflxdump : Flex-OneNAND dump tool for Debugging
stl.dump : stl level Partition Dump Tool for NAND Flash Memory
fsrrestore and update.sh in /etc/Scripts
4-
exe.img(contain exeDSP and samdrv.ko) and
appdata.img are so different.
5- Is this information helpful?; How can we use this info. I do not know!!
To be continued....
Sorry for my bad English;
