Welcome in year 2012 :D

juuso, I tray udpxy.
udpxy look like work on tv, but don't work with any settings at xupnpd. I tray:

Code: Select all

127.0.0.1:8888 with interface eth0
127.0.0.1:8888 & lo
192.168.1.10:8888 & eth0
192.168.1.10:8888 & lo
also links http://192.168.1.10:8888/udp/233.34.28.1:1001 or http://127.0.0.1:8888/udp/233.34.28.1:1001 can't be played

Bellow you can find log from my tv running udpxy:

Ok, trying again... I just got my udp playlist working using attached xupnpd.lua and external udpxy on 8888 port. Look at ExLink debug, channel in playlist is written as udp://@225.6.7.1:49410

One notice: important for C and D series. url like http://192.168.1.102:4044/proxy?s=0%2F7%2F1 can be added to nStreamPlayer or NetPlayer and you can watch udp IPTV channels...
But i prefer to use external (or internal) udpxy and links like http://192.168.1.1/udp/225.6.7.1:49410 on D series for that.

i add here Dreambox Mipsel build,

for D serie to stream channels from dreambox to TV it is need to preform MpegTS playback patch, without, the tv do not want to play these :(

Thanks Denny, i`ll add this to zip archive... :)
WARNING : NOT SUPPORTED CASE - MULTI PROGRAM STREAM !! 9 PROGRAMS EXIST --- crazy ivan :o
What does it mean? i never got this error.

BTW, what do you think, woul be difficult to inject some header for stream? I mean timestamps for stream end or filelenght?. Because on B series we have player, which understands streams with duration time definied. If this is not provided, player rejects to play that stream. (does not valid for dlna). I know here is possible to add extra header information in xupnpd playlist by adding parameter "lenght"

Code: Select all

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0 http://192.168.1.200/IPTV/logo/logo_32_306_1275577081.jpg type=mpeg dlna_extras=mpeg_ps_pal length=1048576 ,LTV
And then n ExLink duration is visible:

Code: Select all

Input #0, mpegts, from '/dtv/temp.dlna':
  Duration: 00:00:03.56, start: 29262.227422, bitrate: 2356 kb/s
  Program 1 LTV.
    Metadata:
      name : LTV.
      provider_name : NoName
    Stream #0.0[0x68](???): Subtitle: [6][0][0][0] / 0x0006
    Stream #0.1[0x71]: Video: mpeg2video, yuv420p, 704x576 [PAR 12:11 DAR 4:3], 6599 kb/s, 27.11 fps, 25 tbr, 90k tbn, 50 tbc
    Stream #0.2[0x72]: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, 1 channels, s16, 192 kb/s
But this doesnt help. NetPlayerB won`t play that movie (link like http://169.254.14.251:4044/proxy?s=0%2F2%2F14 ) and doesn`t recognize duration and filelenght:

Code: Select all

[CTDMediaComponent::t_Main:717] >>>>>>>> Start of GetStreamInfo (0)....
[CTDMediaComponent::GetStreamInfo:355] Get 0 sized stream..

Is here any other way to inject some info to the stream (i`m talking about B series, because C and D doesn't have such problem).

I'm also tray you config. Only difference is one line as comment:

Code: Select all

-- cfg.mcast_interface='eth0'
But this can't help me. Tray this same stream as you - LTV. Any from this work at my TV:
udp://@225.6.7.1:49410
html://127.0.0.1:8888/udp/225.6.7.1:49410
html://192.168.1.10:8888/udp/225.6.7.1:49410

When I open some ports on my router for test but my router hang.

Hey, you`re joking probably... my udp play list wont work on your TV because it is for only providers subnet :D

you have to get your providers IPTV list... (if such exists). multicast addresses couln`t be watched from outside. Sure, i can give you mine list, proxied to unicast, but as udp:// it is only available for me only (and sure, other users of same provider).

Post by moras86 »

OK, now I get it. I can't watch streams over udp from network but only subnet.
Sorry about problem.

So I got another question. What other stream protocols are supported?
Stream mms://stream.hdtv1.cz/Film1cz-live work on NetPlayerB widget, but not at xupnpd.

I also like to share working playlistswhat I use on my TV.

wow, got some more howto! haha... (i love samyGo)

Thanks Moras for the RC5 - game trailers like the vimo and you tube work great. Again im not able to access the web interface. Now comes the newb question :)

im using wireless for the TV , it wasnt in the examples list, but can i specify wlan0 as the interface...
moras86 wrote: -- multicast interface for SSDP exchange, 'eth0', 'br0', 'br-lan' for example
cfg.ssdp_interface='eth0'
i know some people would say try it and see... norm i would, but people are watching the TV... and my "just need 2mins for testing" card has run out!

Also am now happy that i would like this permanent - how can i add this to execute on start-up of the TV? would i add it into the samyGO extentions? /etc/init.d Or can it be added into the TV itself ?

*** UPDATE ***

Right i am now able to access the web interface -

i ssh -CD XXXX root@tv (do i need the compression?)
then pointed my proxy on firefox to localhost and specified port. then i was able to access web interface on port 4044

my next goal is to get bbc iplayer streams working. ie create my onw m3u playlists and plugin. Some help here would be apriciated. moras86 how did you create the game trailers m3u playlists and plugin? they are good btw :D

in xupnpd-rc/plugins i have inspected the generic.lua
i want to use the rss feeds??? from http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/feeds

But am i little lost when trying to figue this out. any help advice on how to work this would be great. Thanks

think iv opened a can of worms here! ....

check out http://www.infradead.org/get_iplayer/ht ... layer.html

seems the beeb (bbc) have gone ant open source :( (i have been able to list and download content on linux machine - just not able to stream live tv due to SWF Verification restrictions) not really a problem - seeing as were talking about a TV lol!

Is the above project useful to xupnpd in any way? im guessing/thinking/stab in the dark! that id be able to use the above project to help me create the needed m3u/plugins i would need.... ???

/me requests some good reading material regarding streaming :D
