D-Link DWA-125 A2 FW. 1.40 how to return original ID's

Hi guys, i neeeeeeeeeeeeed help from somebody here...
I got DWA-125 WiFi and i have changed his VID and PID to make it work on my LE37C530 (changed to C550 through service menu)...my tv recognize it but cant find any network...so that is not problem, i also have wd tv live that worked with my dwa-125 like charm before i changed ID's but now it recognize it but cant find any network same like TV...(i changed PID and VID using samygo tutorial)....
Does anybody had same problem, how can i change VID and PID to original state, i already tried with compiling rt2870 drivers, and im able to use IWPRIV, but when i type new 208=07d1 or 208=7d1 or 208=0x07d1 or .... whatever else, i got no errors but VID is not changed, same goes for PID....
Anyone had similar problem? Im really stuck now, help

Actually the prosedure should be the same as you`ve made.
I got same (couldn`t restore original settings on my other wifi dongle, un 7711).
But dwa-125 works well with changed values.

Procedure should be same i know that, but i believe driver on linux is problem now, since i changed vid and pids to match that samsung wifi dongle with rt2870 chipset.
Now my linux distro thinks that dwa-125 got rt2870 chipset but it doesnt it have rt3070 and maybe that is the reason why i cant change id's to original....if i can make 3070 driver
to work with modified dwa-125 that would solve problems but i dont know how :S

I had same problem. But I figured it out, changed drivers, added samsung id-s, and installed new drivers. Then changed ID-s back. ( I didn't get to remowe installes drivers so I installed new ubuntu ( old 8.10) and installed modified drivers.

Hi I have the same problem as yours, i changed my dlink pid and vid to match samsung stick, but can't find network.

I want to go back with the original dlink id, but i can't compile a correct driver. I tried many times.
When i do "iwconfig" i don't get any ra0, and I can't use iwpriv.

Any help? Since you restored back to original, can you share your solution in details? Thank you

So I finally found my changed driver. Download attached file, unpack, and replace usb_main_dev.c in driver folder \os\linux
I used 2009_1204_RT3070_Linux_STA_v2.1.2.0

then install driver and it should work, then you can return to original ID's as you did it before to change to samsung

I tried 2009_1204_RT3070_Linux_STA_v2.1.2.0 and replaced the file you attached... but still no luck.

By the way it was something very similar to what I already tried... but no success
The only thing I can get is WLAN1 (by doing iwconfig). I can't see any RA0 like i saw the first time i changed to samsung id's.

I think i'll soon give up... i really don't know what to do more... if you know anything useful pls let me know

First time I didn't get it to work also. It was because I had drivers already installed, couldn't remove them so I installed another ubuntu, old version. After that as it should be. So trie clean install of linux where isn't included drivers rt3070sta.
So if you can't do it yourself, send it to me( to Estonia) and I'll trie to do that

Thank you!!! I somehow managed to restore the original values to my dwl-125 !! Now it is working again.
I just used ubuntu on another pc... i did the same steps with your file... and it worked !!!
