What were the steps you followed to get change from D6000 to D6500?

I can not. My model is the UE32D6000

The process is reversible?

Can you help me?

Kind regards,
Jorge

The source was a side-by-side 3D file. The window asking to choice horizontal or vertical SBS does not show, only a green screen.

The widget of Skype starts normally, i have connected in my account. If I have a camera, i think that will be work.

Thanks.
Did you notice other 'degradation' in image/menu quality ? My parents can live without 3d and skype would be more important to work... I will still try to install the skype on the D6000.

No, the only bad thing was 3D not working.

Follow the instructions posted by "claytonjua". The process is reversible, I changed back my TV for D6000 and 3D function worked again.

Thanks for the valuable information.
I'm struggling to install skype on the D6000 now.
I got the skype_2011.zip file from one of the members, and I want to try to install it on the TV.

Do you have a http server set up ?
Could you try to install it via the method mentioned here :
http://news.softpedia.com/news/How-To-E ... 3621.shtml
Of course, instead of using the one provided there, you should use this one.
If you don't have the http server, you can use mine for testing, i've set up everthing because i've tried to install the old one provided in the post above, the icon appeared but it did not start. With this one I did not try it yet, as the TV is at my parents and I go home usually only on weekends.

You can find the zip here :
http://www.2shared.com/file/x9EbDCdh/Skype_2011.html
(This is already in this forum, but the config.xml needs the <type>user</type> entry, otherwise it won't show up. This is why i've reuploaded it)

Examining the zip file, it looks like in the 'bin' folder there is a skyhost (?) file, which looks like the executable itself, then there are 2 .so modules libMoIPCamera_2058.so and libAVAPI.so which should handle the camera.. There is also a bin file (i'm not sure what's the purpose of this)

Do you have a cable to debug the output ? I'm courious what does the dmesg output when you try to load skype..

But I've tried to access the service menu with the keys is Info-Menu-Mute-Power.

In the model appears UD6000, do not leave change. Shown in gray. :(

My model is: UE32D6000.

Is there another way?

Jorge

Follow these steps here:

http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Activa ... R_on_D5500

(Ususally people on a forum don't like if you keep asking the same question again and again without searching the forum first. The method is described in this thread at the first or second page)

Good morning,

I managed to change the TV model to UD6500. My thanks to all involved.

However, I can not write the sign comes to hdmi.

For example, I have a dreambox 800HD and I want to record TV that comes from the dreambox, and does not work.

Only records the signal cable and must be digital. Analog does not work.

Is there any way around this situacion?

Best regards,
Jorge Moreira
