[SOLVED]LE46C750 Not Bricked, shutting down every 5 minutes.

Post by thatfellow76 »

Hi Guys..

Only yesterday I attempted to hack my TV using: Hacking C-Series TV with Internet@TV only.. All seemed to go well, I connected to my PC Synced the Appz but I got an error when I clicked the "Hack My TV" button.

I know I should have probably not attempted this because I am on the latest Firmware version T-VALDEUC_3015.0

What I want to know now is:
Can I reformat EPRom & start again

Also I have an RS232 to USB Null modem cable, can I use that to connect to the TV or do I need the TTL Cable?

Your problem is watchdog.
Just:
disconnect internet cable from TV
enter to service menu, navigate to control-sub option watchdog and set it off.
Restart TV, go to I@TV and uninstall hack widget.

If you need to get hacked TV, downgrade firmware using T-VALDEUC-0000.0, install T-VALDEUC-3005.0 and hack it once again with hack widget.

That`s all.

OK m8, thanks a lot for that. I have turned off watchdog and now my TV is not shutting down any more. TY TY TY....

I could not downgrade using T-VALDEUC-0000.0, I just kept getting no update found... Do i leave all the files on the root of the USB Stick or in the T-VALDEUC_0000 folder on the Root of the USB? And also, do you know if it is even possible to downgrade from the latest 3015.0 firmware? Thanks again m8..

OK,here is an update.. I finally managed to downgraded from 3015.0 to T-VALDEUC-0000.0 and then upgraded to T-VALDEUC-3005.1.. Then I did the Internet@TV Hack, It seemed to work.. I then put run.sh & SamyGO folder on USB Stick. I turned off the TV.
I then followed the steps..
1.. Turn on TV
2.. plug in usb stick & wait for popup to go & wait further 20 seconds..

I then tried to log in through putty using my TV's IP Address & SSH but I just get "Network Error: Connection Refused"

Things I might have done wrong
1.. I created files on windows computer
2.. I formatted USB Stick with NTFS
3.. I downloaded run.sc from this site & Im not sure if its right for my TV?
Here is whats in the file:

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh
touch $1/ScriptOK
sync
rm -f /mtd_rwarea/profile
$1/SamyGO/rcSGO $1/SamyGO > $1/rcSGO_out 2>&1 &
I also tried to use IP: 188.126.44.135 to get widget's but it just froze at (7/12) WIKIPEDIA

Lastly, Every time my tv is powered off & On again, when I go into internet@TV, It deletes the Hack My TV App. Is this normal?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

You don`t need anymore to have hack my tv widget. Once it did the job, in can be deleted.

I think you did see you have to use FAT32 formated usb, not ntfs...
