Changed Tuner in Service Menu now having restarts allover !

Hi Everybody

I know, I did something stupid. I have a 55ES6340, which has got a DVB-S2 Tuner build in. But where I live there is a Sat-System, which is called Unicable or SCR (Satellite Channel Routing), and I wondered if it would be possible, make the tuner run with this special system. Because I know, that there are Samsung TV's which work with that system, so I thought, the build in tuner may technicaly be able to handle it, so I changed the tuner preference in the service menu.
Since then the TV doesn't not start anymore ! It makes restarts over and over again. I can't go into the service menu anymore, it just makes these restarts..

Please anybody help me to fix it. Maybe with a firmware which I put onto the TV from outside?

i can just advice to make eeprom reset. take high res photos of your mainboard, every 8-pin chip and attach here.

Ok, thanks for the advice! in the meantime, I've found some more infos in the WiKi, is the eeprom marked under the ES series the one I have to reset?

from VCC to SDA / VCC to GND, both without any luck.

what can I try next? And should I have the power pluged in? (but the TV powered off?)

Yes, you`re on the right chip. Why don`t you get success? Duno, maybe wrong procedure?
1. TV is unplugged from wall outlet
2. Make short circuit between 5 and 8 pads or VCC and SDA (as on wiki) and keep hold, don`t release
3. power on TV (connect to electricity outlet), wait until you get TV booted (screen lights up), release shortened pins
4. Power off TV to StandBy (using remote control)
5. info menu mute power - enter to service menu and set correct values.

Procedure is tricky, some users reported they got success after many fails, so i suggest you dont give up...

If TV starts to standby after you plug in TV in step 3, the press power on and let TV boot. Proceed further steeps as described.
Perhaps we need photo of whole mainboard and other 8-pin chips? Maybe here are some on back side as well?

Ok, I got it work again, tryed different pins to until it worked, with SCL to GND! The tricky bit was to turn the TV off again, becaus it was in restart loop. But then I already thought it is not gona work, then pulled the bridge out and immediately the TV started normale, without turning it off and on again. Thats a bid strange isn't it?

Anyway the TV is working again, but I have troubles, finding the default typ, local set and front color for the UE55ES6340SXZG ! Do you have any idea, where to find the right settings for that?

I'll open another thread for the values. Can you tell me how I can change the Local Set, Basic Model and SVC Model, because this are greyed out on my TV?

You can enable extended service menu, send 3speed + info keys trough RC. Info on wiki.
