Turn UE40ES5700 into ES6300 + Samba

Hello all,

I recently bought a UE40ES5700 and there's a feature missing, that I'd really like to use.
How can I access samba network shares? Is there any way to install a patched firmware on my model?

I'm totally new to modding smart-tvs, but I would describe myself as experienced user.

Another interesting thing I read somewhere in the wiki, is the idea to turn an ES5700 into an ES6300, so that
it has 3D and 200Hz ....

Has anybody already tried this out?

Please help me, especially the samba feature is important to me!

you have to do some research first and find out if you have the exact hardware that is being used in ES6300 for your ES5700, especially the panel, network and the tuner.
in service menu there is a greyed out setting tab where you can set your tv to ES6300 model and then do a usb firmware upgrade for the ES6300 on it.
again this is risky and you have to do some reading and research first.
