services are under SamyGO/etc/init.d, if you delete SamyGO/etc/rc.sysinit nothing will be executedmortimerx wrote:Hello there,
to whom it may concerns: i want to report strange behaviours of samygo extensions on my TV.
The strangest thing is that it takes so incredibly long until windowsshares are found (and ssh access is possible) although i entered username/password and serveradress in the 04_04_samba.init. Its 20-30 minutes.
I read a recommendation to remove unneccessary services to speed up the sambafinding, by deleting the following files from the usb-pen:
SamyGO/etc/rc.sysinit
SamyGO/etc/init.d/03_01_fuse.init
SamyGO/etc/init.d/03_03_djmount.init
SamyGO/etc/init.d/03_03_nfsmount.init
So did i.
As i started the extensions from this usbpen the upnp-server was found !!But i deleted all those files from the pen?!?
Some backgroundinfos that may are helpful:
LE40B750 using a SamyGO v0.21 modified firmware 2004. SamyGO.sh is NOT executed after boot although i patched in advanced mode. (chmod 755 is set)
a complete set of SamyGo-Extensions exist in the TV's memory (copied via contend manager).
I am using a FAT32 formated 1GB USB-Pen for executing the SamygoExtensions without the above mentioned init-files.
Could it be that, even i deleted those init-files on the pen the files are found and used from TVs memory?
regards,
morti
