I did install the 1116 firmware using the DNS trick.
Installed the SamyGo expansion
Modified ExeDSP successfully
Mounted my NAS disk (cifs), this worked but the disk didnt mount the way I wanted it to.
Then I did something I shouldnt have...
Using the wiki "Mounting_an_CIFS/SAMBA_share_on_a_USB_device_to_bypass_DLNA" I did try to do the part listed under "Load Kernelmodules for VUSB"
I copied the files dummy_hcd.ko and g_file_storage.ko to my /mtd_rwarea and adding the commands to my user.sh script. After next reboot my BD player refuse to boot, and stoppes with the smart tv logo on screen.
I did still have the line mv /mtd_rwarea/user.sh /mtd_rwarea/user.sh.safe enabled, so I pulled the plug and hoped it would start up normally, but it still freeze on startup.
The front display works, and beeps when I press the touch buttons and the volume can be set up/down. But the only thing that works is the on/off button.
And the FTP service is not running, so I cant delete those files or edit my script anymore.
So now I am stuck. Unless someone have a trick for recovery available, I guess I must send it to repair.

Re: Bricked HT-D6750W
you should have usb hotplug hack working, this means, of you attach usb with script SamyGO.sh on root, this script will be executed during tv boot once. or same will be happen during usb hotplug. Add lines for remove user.sh there...

Re: Bricked HT-D6750W
Thanks for the reply.
I will try that as a last try when I get home. I'm on a two week trip right now, so I'll just prepare the usb stick with a SamyGO.sh script now and have it ready until I get home.
Will a script like this work ok? And just to be sure, must the usb stick be fat or fat32 formatted?
#!/bin/sh
rm -f /mtd_rwarea/user.sh
rm -f /mtd_rwarea/dummy_hcd.ko
rm -f /mtd_rwarea/g_file_storage.ko
rm -f /mtd_rwarea/cifs.ko

Re: Bricked HT-D6750W
I just tried your advice, but nothing happened.
The usb stick doesnt even lit up (the LED on the stick) so it doesnt look like the D6750w tries to load anything at all from the stick.
I tried to insert it before or after I turn on the box, but it never seem to read the usb stick.

Re: Bricked HT-D6750W
Update: Luckily I still had valid warrenty on my unit, so I did send it to repair. Not unexpected, they couldnt get it to work either, so they replaced the main pcb.
I got it back today, and now its working again, already on SamyGo and cinavia patched:)
