Firmware downgrade via USB or disc

I am trying to execute the firmware downgrade via DNS change as described in http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Patched_firmware, but I keep getting the upgrade option in Support menu grayed out. Once it gets active (after few minutes), I get the "No software to upgrade currently" message. I am not sure if something is wrong with my DNS configuration, so I was thinking of trying to download the firmware and set it over USB stick or CD. I was looking on downloads on SourceForge site, but I am not sure where to look (maybe it's just not my day:).
BTW, I have BD-E5500 with firmware 1018.
