Changing country for BD-F6500

I have tried to change country on a new F6500 Blu Ray player recently bought in the Netherlands without success. Tried >> 289 < < and the code you give for the F Series TV, by downloading this onto my Harmony remote. Samsung NL Support told me that changing country is no longer possible with the new firware. The player automatically defaults to the country you are in. I have a working SmartDNS, but that doesn?t seem to help. Is the only solution to first set the player up in the UK and download th apps there? Should I think of connecting to a proxy server?

I am thinking of buying a new Samsung TV too, but first would like to know definitely that the instructions given in the WIKI still work.

I've established that I can still change the country for apps with my new UE55F8000 TV, but I still haven't been able to do so with the F6000 blue ray player
