Fix djmount's 2 GB limitation or replace?

I also encounter this problem.
Large files are not listed in UPNP-Server on my B750.
The OP asked two months ago - any fix for this available?

and there is an experimental fix in svn since two months

Fix Djmount (file extensions mkv ogg / no m3u)

works
can't test if tv realy play the big file

ps: but i guess it lags also on 1080p material (over wlan)

Thank you for this hint, but as i am a beginner in all this i have no idea how to install this update.
If there is an howto i could do some testing.

you need a system to compile binaries for your tv from c source files (best choice is a real linux distribution like mandriva, whit some portion of luck
you can also use cygwin or macos). so you can download the sources via svn (subversion) and start to build the latest stuff.
