Hi,
I have installed your apps on a S4 mini and I have successfully send factory and 3speed ir code to my brand new Samsung UE46EH5000WXXN version 2 to be able to change regional setting from BENELUX to FRANCE after having try the .WAV method described in the post http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Remote ... m_IR_codes without success because POWER.WAV, FACTORY.WAV and 3SPEED.WAV have no effect on my TV ! all other.WAV present in this post work !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Nelix - no one has reported any problems thus far. You don't run much risk going into the service menu itself, but changing things in there can definitely cause you trouble. Only you are responsible for what happens, if you are frightened then don't experiment!
For others posting results with the android APK - please share your Android device type and TV model along with your experience with the app.

Because I'm trying to install it on Android 4.2.2 (Samsung Galaxy S2) and they are not working.
They are crashing right after I install & run it.

Hi I recently purchased a S4 application and I worked great.

But I upgraded to version 4.4 and gives me kitkat crash when opening the application.

Hi All - have been offline for some time... Sorry about the problems after recent Android updates, app doesn't run in Eclipse/ADT emulator anymore either. I have narrowed down that it seems to be a problem in the support libraries but my attempts at fixing have not worked so far. I will keep trying, but if there are any real android devs lurking, I am happy to share my changes to fishjord's source files linked in the first post to get it repackaged.

guess the s2 has no irda unit and the original author had no coding style and he not checks for nullpointerexceptions...

btw. before you start to blame mr. fish that its not working on kitkat i just fixed that the app not crash on devices without irda unit and added samsung keycodes
