Firmware downgrade or DVR Enable on 32EH5300 firmware 2000.2

Hi at all!

i have an samsung tv model 32EH5300 with firmware 2000.2 (T-MST10PDEUC_2000.2.exe, i know, i'm very stupid to update at it)!

i would know if i can enable DVR on it (with old firmware i can...) . with this firmware i can't access at service private menu.

who know if i can access at private service menu or if i can downgrade?

Looks like it's particularly not a good idea to update firmware nowadays

You may try IR transmitter method from wiki to access service menu, without guarantee it will work.
And sorry but no way to downgrade E-series/MST (at least for now)

thank you very much! Application ruSamsungTVCommunicator not work with firmware 2000.2, but with IR Remote i can access at service private menu! i have used my Htc One and application "HTC IR Universal Remote"!

Another question: can i root my tv? and what are the benefits of root?

We still don't have positive feedback about firmware 2000.2. If you decide to root, check related topics and please report success or not.
Benefits are mainly access to SamyGo extensions (decrypt recordings, samba/nfs share, several patches that make life easier, and much more )

downloaded HTC IR - Universal Remote ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .sample.ir )
open it.

Click on My Remote Control TV 1 (in red) and set at two functions (for example at Play (assign factory) and Pause (assign 3Speed)) the values hex of Factory and 3Speed.

Press "Save IR codes"

now click on "My Remote Control TV 1 GUI", and press Play and Pause (or your combinations)

It did not work on my Galaxy S4 with Android Kitkat 4.4.2... So, I installed Samsung IR - Universal Remote (the same app, but for Samsung) and works great! Thank you!
