Me and my UE46B6000VPXZG Samsug

Post by candelaver »

HI Folks,

I?m very Happy, that i found SamyGo Forum, now i?m interessted and willing, to enhance my TV UE46B6000VPXZG.
in the last Days, i read the Tutorials and Wikis from SamyGo, the most of the Information is understandable for, but there some Questions as Leftover.

lets Start Questioning :-)
As Time goes by

1.) My TV UE46B6000VPXZG (With the P = CI+) uses Firmware T-CHL5CIPDEU-2004.2 .
Sometimes i Switch in the Service Menu the Model to the B7000, for using Mediaply of Movies etc.

Where to find and Which firmware, i have to take ???
I Think i need this firmware T-CHL5CIPDEUC 2007.0 to upgrade my TV for Ex-link Access.
Is there mayby an other Way, like Firmware Hack to Access my TV Model ?

2.) I whould like to use Wlan Network, Root (serial Console) with this TV and if it?s possible to switch on OpenSamyGo Firmware
Must i switch the TV Modell to B700 for permanetly Wlan Use ??

3.) I don?t use CI+ Modul an i didn?t have one
for the first thats all

Thank you for help

Searching for B Series Firmware for UE46B6000VPXZG CIP+....

Post by candelaver »

I?m searching for my TV UE46B6000VPZXG with CI+ original Samsung virgin Firmwares, can anyone help me ??
at Time my Tv uses the T-CHL5CIPDEUC_2004.2 (see added Pic for further Details).
I whould be great, when anyone have T-CHL5CIPDEUC_2004.2 - 2007.0 Firmware, for me.

I know, that this, an old Model and so on, but this is TV that i want to use for Researches/experiment etc. i dont want to use my actual ES Series or soon coming UHD TV.
Also it?s well known, that the CI+ Firmware is encrypted, but that whouldn`t be a Problem, because the Algorytms, are also known and here in the Samygo Forum Threads, are many informations, that can whould help me to do a small Project for me and my TV.

thank you for helping to find Firmware,

PS- i have an Ex-Link Cable and the other nescessary Equipment, for my learning of matter.

bye

CI+ and moreover B6000 is not the best TV to start... I did not find any firmware you`re asking for on my resources.

Thank you juuso,
for searching of Firmwares etc.

i know that this Device isn`the best Object to start with linux and TV Firmware, learning on the hardest Headnut, is a very good beginning, for everything.
i ensure you, i?m absolut carefully and some knowledge basics are given to me.

like i wrote you the RSA Authuld whould not be my biggest Problem !!!

in the meantime i got Access to the Filesystem of my Device, now i?m trying to dump the whole system, to get the nescessary Keys for the RSA Authuld.
also there is some missing Linux knowledge to execute the onboard/inside scripts of the Device like Core_Dump or xsr_otp_CIP.
the Access to the Filessystem and list all over Exlink was easy for me, also Access to USB stick.

honestly i must read some about the Linux Commands, micoms at time

The desired Firmwares are important to test encrypt and decrypt of the contructed RSA Authuld,
so it is possible to compare Checksum hashes etc. before flashing, to secure/prevent Brick before Alphatesting.

at time, this is the actuall stand of things.

bye

i think you have better to stay on your 2004.2, make dumps and work on it.
To get dumps you have to post output of some system commands:

Code: Select all

cat /.info
mount
df -h
ls -1 /mtd_rwarea/PartitionSwitch*
ls -1 /mtd_rwarea/Version*
cat /mtd_rwarea/Version*
p.s. we have kernel module, wich allows to skip authuld checks. If lucky, this could be ok for your TV as well. But need dumps first.
