Yes, you have used Windows Notepad to edit script and messed it up
It's mandatory to use an advanced editor such as Notepad++ and set linefeeds to Unix format.

When using the ticker autorun occasionally (20%?) of the time the USB drive is not found and SamyGO extensions are not loaded. Is there a way to delay loading?

Yes you used incorrect editor for editing files and you edited wrong file IIRC

That was confusing to me too, I don't have the path /mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO but I found rcSGO in /mnt so that's what I was trying to modify.

rcSGO is in /dtv/ is temporary No point in editing it

sorry, that was a typo, the rcSGO file is in /mnt Anyway I had a lot of trouble getting an edited script to run (maybe it was my ftp that was screwing it up) so I ended up finding a different solution. I changed the main.js in the auto_start app to have two timeouts, one for usbtest() (set to 2000 ms) and the another (100 ms) for the other steps. This works very well giving the thumb drive some extra time to be availble and then zooming through the other bits.
