I bricked my LE40A616A3FXK

Post by DanCosmo »

I bricked my TV using the service menu. I was searching for a possibility to set HDMI1 as default source, because i use the TV-Alarmclock with a IP-TV-Receiver.
So, something has gone wrong. I think (but i dont know for sure) i changed the model.
Now the Led is blinking 5 times and tv stays powered on. But black screen.

I tried to reset it with 12 sec. EXIT. (I waited 15 to 20 seconds) But nothing.

I need a way to reset to default settings.

If you need more Photos, i can make. TV is open.

THX

Short circuit on eeprom chip to set TV to standby mode. Post labels of all 8pin chips here. Also check the backside of mainboard

On the back of the Mainboard, i found a row of connectors.
I wonder, if i could connect SDA and SGND (ground???). I tried with B3.3V, but no effect.
Am i on the totaly wrong way ?

I asked you to post all labels of 8-pin chips found on both sides on your mainboard. No idea if this row of connectors could be useful. If i was you, i try to use SCL or SDA short circuit to GND. But i`m not sure if these pins are connected to SoC eeprom. Possible this is some kind of jtag pins and you will risk to burn your mainboard completely by short circuiting it.

Procedure well described there: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/UnBric ... set#EEPROM
sure first you have to identify your eeprom chip.

Can you read labels on some of photos? I`m not. Pls write down labels and post under the photos.

Whow. All of them ? OK. Lets see, if i find more 8-legged objects. They look all so similar.

Labels, you mean the lasered types on the chips ? Or the Number on the board, like IC3101
?

I?m asking, because i want to understand you right. English isn?t my homelanguage.
